03. New York Fashion Worker's Act
The AMA has spent the past few months working with our lawyers to red-line the current bill to exclude creative management companies completely. We plan to bring our concerns about the bills language to the attention of its sponsor and will continue to update this community as we figure out the next steps.
This fall we will need the help of this community to keep this fight going and continue to pay our legal team. We hope you will consider donating to the AMA's New York Fashion Worker's Defense Fund.
04. Introducing the Universal Bid Form
Tuesday | Sept 20 | 4 PM ET / 1 PM PT
On September 20th the AMA will be hosting a webinar with our partner, BlinkBid to discuss the AMA Universal Bid Form (UBF).
The UBF is the new standard for business communication for production. Created by the Artist Management Association (AMA) alongside partners BlinkBid and CiMS, the UBF is a common template developed with input from producers and representatives across the photo/motion world.
Inspired by the AICP bid form, the standard for TV commercial production for over forty years, the Universal Bid Form aims to create efficient communication for job production, to streamline faster job awards and faster payments of final invoices.
This webinar will present the new bid form and explain why it is the future of bidding in the photo/motion world.
We look forward to seeing you there!
