The Artist Management Association (AMA) is a trade organization for companies and individuals representing Photographers, Stylists, Hair and Makeup Artists, Directors, Creative Directors, Illustrators and other creative talent who work in the commercial photography and fine art industries.

Our goal is to create and uphold best business practices and standards that ensure a strong foundation for our future while working to create a more sustainable, inclusive, and diverse community.

Growth of our membership strengthens our legislative advocacy position, making us more impactful and successful.
How we work
Through committees designed to leverage our members’ individual strengths in partnerships, business affairs, programming and events, we learn from and advocate for our members, disseminating information through town halls, webinars and social media. When you join the AMA, you are free to sign up for multiple committees. We encourage committee participation but it is not mandatory.
