Updates on CA Shutdowns

California COVID-19 Updates For Our Industry

We are reaching out to our network to provide updates and clarity on new COVID-19 shutdowns in the state of California. As announced yesterday, a new regional stay-at-home order has been put in place for counties that have less than 15% ICU capacity. To find the status of a specific county, click here.

We are currently monitoring the situation to gauge how this will effect productions in our industry. According to the CA state’s website tracking COVID-19 developments, music, TV and film production may continue to operate with modifications. Permits are currently being issued, and as of today, production is allowed in the San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego markets.

Please find linked here Reopening Protocol for Music, Television and Film Production as set forth by the County of Los Angeles Public Health. This checklist formed the basis of the AMA Health & Hygiene Procedures for COVID-19 designed to support our members, clients and artists in setting up safe productions during this time.

We’ve also included below links to what we are reading from the Los Angeles Times and Deadline.
