AMA PRESENTS: “COMPLIANCE 101”
The AMA is kicking off the first in a series of free educational webinars with “Compliance 101,” led by our partner Wrapbook and open to the entire community. This is a chance to learn about the most common compliance mistakes, the best ways to ensure your shoots are running payroll properly, how AB-5 has affected productions taking place in California and other related issues.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee Launches Portfolio Review Series
The DEI Committee is launching a new initiative for the artist representatives in our community to conduct portfolio reviews with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ artists the week of May 10.
We are looking for a broad spectrum of artist reps and agencies to provide guidance and support to diverse artists in our industry. You do not need to be a member of the AMA yet to participate.

Business Affairs Committee Develops a Universal Bid Form and Industry Guidelines
We will be breaking down the Business Affairs umbrella into separate task forces to focus on the development of specific and much-needed resources for our community.

The AMA board will be circling back with those interested in collaborating on the Universal Bid Form in the next couple weeks to set a committee kick-off date.
Usage Glossary
The Usage Task Force will spearhead the development of our Usage Glossary - an important resource to support our industry in negotiating on behalf of our artists.
Terms & Conditions
The T&C task force is responsible for creating the first suggested set of standard Terms and Conditions for our industry.

We are calling all interested members to support us in activating the below new committees. We need your support to make these initiatives a reality!
Community, Development & Education Committee
We need 2-4 members to support the board and our partners in setting up webinars, brainstorming ideas for educational events and town halls, and actively seeking and discovering new ways of connecting with our broader community.
Advocacy Committee
This committee will prioritize potential areas for lobbying and how best to use our collective voice to express industry concerns and initiatives to brands and ad agencies.
