01. Fall Release of New Educational Resources 

The AMA website has been updated! Check out the fall release of new resources.

The AMA is hard at work providing resources that will create a strong foundation for our industry and serve as a guide to those managing artists. The following resources have been updated and are live on our site!

    Two new templates for Terms and Conditions - Whether you are working with an outside producer or managing production yourself, we've got you covered with this shared legal resource

  • Production Resources
    Explore the National Guidelines for Photo Production and share with clients the AMA recommendations on subjects such as Advance Payment Terms and Transparency throughout the bidding process

    More shared legal resources that include NDA's, Crew Confidentiality and Rep/Producer Agreements you can customize for your productions

04. The AMA Is Hiring!

The AMA is hiring a part-time Associate Director 

The AMA is hiring a part-time Associate Director position to oversee and facilitate the management of the association. This is a new association and new position that will require an innate ability to lead and organize a diverse community of individuals and companies in realizing a common purpose.

This position will report to a board of directors and be responsible for coordinating committee and board meetings. Candidates best suited for this role have experience in project management and administration as well as familiarity with the commercial arts industry and culture.

APA Call for Submission

APA photographer members can use the power of print and the APA brand to connect with Art Buyers, Art Producers, and Photo Editors. The APA Sourcebook provides an additional opportunity to be seen by the people who hire photographers. A full page is free to APA photographer members at the Leader or Professional level. APA San Diego's Untitled 2021 photo competition and annual exhibition, call for entry is going on now. A portion of the entry frees will support "Outside the Lens". Just $10 an entry to APA members.

08. Get Involved by Joining a Committee

Looking to get involved? Join a Committee! 

We aim to create committees representing the full AMA membership. In particular, our Membership and Partnership Committees need more advocates. The more members and partners we have, the stronger our collective voice will be. Let us know which committees interest you; you can select more than one. 

Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee
The Artist Management Association’s DEI Committee is actively committed to supporting diversity, equity and inclusion in the art and commerce industry. With that in mind, we are launching the 1st Rep and Review event in late 2021. The goal of the event is to connect diverse artists with experienced artist representatives in our industry. To help organize the event or participate in the reviews, join the committee today.
