01. Town Hall: NYFWA Update
AMA Town Hall | UPDATE - New York Fashion Worker's Act
TODAY 4PM ET / 1PM PT
Please join us today as we host a town hall with our attorney from Manatt, Phelps & Philips to update the community on the current status of the New York Fashion Worker's Act and what the next steps are to amend this legislation.
We want to thank the AMA community, the AMA board, our partners at APA, 4A’s and our artists for their support last year while we navigated learning about the New York Fashion Worker’s Act (NYFWA).
Your swift actions, engagement, and outreach stopped the bill from passing last year, allowing us the opportunity to meet with the bills sponsors, senators and assembly members over the past few months. We will continue these efforts on behalf of our community with the hope that this bill will be re-drafted.
