AMA News: December 2024 Newsletter
01. A Note from our President
As we close the year, I want to express my deepest gratitude to each of you—our members, partners, and supporters. Your dedication and continued involvement have made it possible for the AMA to grow, adapt, and address new challenges head-on.
Throughout this year, we gathered over cocktails, participated in the speaker series, attended webinars, joined roundtables, and shared valuable resources. Together, we addressed pivotal issues, including the evolving impact of AI, best practices for treatments, and navigating complex financial matters like client solvency, bankruptcy, and clawbacks. We launched our Institutional Partnerships, fostering relationships with higher education institutions to support the next generation of agents and artists. We also grew our online resource library and welcomed new team support to enhance our communication and member engagement.
Looking ahead to 2025, we remain committed to expanding our membership nationally and internationally, bringing in new voices to further enrich our association. The AMA exists to provide leadership, educate, advocate and support us as artist representatives. It’s this collective spirit that strengthens our industry and ensures our ability to serve all those who work alongside us. We are stronger together.
Thank you and Happy Holidays!
Pat Bates, President, Artist Management Association
